You just will not do it.”
Exercise has a pretty constant ROI. Anthony Mendez, founder of Mendez Fitness, noted that moving around every day can cause pain that would otherwise be exacerbated by sitting in an office chair all day. “The increase in energy and well-being is undeniable,” said Mendez. “There are so many options that you can only do half an hour of exercise, which is sure to change your whole day.”
Berghoff reproduces this. “I’ve noticed that almost no one ever gets out of a workout thought. It was a waste of time.” It increases energy and confidence, which inevitably boosts your business too. 3. Make time to breathe every day

Berghoff recommends a complete “reset of the parasympathetic nervous system” through box breathing. “Set timers to remind yourself to stop in the middle of the day, open your jaw, relax your face, and intentionally breathe. Box breathing involves inhaling for four seconds, holding for four seconds, exhaling for four seconds, holding for another four seconds, and then repeating for a few minutes, “she explained. Keeping track of stress also affects your work. A 2002 study found a negative correlation between stress and creativity, meaning that stress can make it harder to be creative.
4. Create a sleep routine that helps you calm down
After all, sleep should be considered sacred! “A really good night of sleep will regenerate your cells, which will promote healing and help your brain retain memories and all that newly acquired knowledge,” noted Berghoff. “Preparing for the best possible sleep night after night is one of the best things you can do for your health and your work day.”
Berghoff says the best way to get a better night’s sleep is to create a nightly routine. “Take a set bedtime to train your body to unwind and help your body produce melatonin by dimming the lights or switching them to red-tinted lights,” advises Berghoff. “Because of the amount of artificial blue light we’re all familiar with on our devices, it can be difficult for the body to know it’s time to go to bed, resulting in longer sleep latencies and easier sleep.” She says that a simple solution can be to put all electronics away an hour before bed.
